The governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) has held Rally at the Jubilee Park , Kumasi, in the Ashante Region to outdoor its vice presidential candidate.
Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh was formally introduced to Menhyia Otumfuo Osei Tutu, the Asantehene, before making his way to the Jubilee Park. Mr. Prempeh says he expects 85% of votes in favour of his party from the Ashante Region in the upcoming elections.
Aslo present was the president of the Republic Ghana, Nana Addo, and the current vice president who doubles now as the 2024 presidential candidate for the NPP, Dr. Alhaji Bawumia., Ministers and Deputy Ministers of State and Members of Parliament.
