The Ghana Private Road and Transport Operators (GPRTU) and the Ghana Road Transport Coordinating Council (GRTCC) has agreed to transport fares by 15.3 percent effective Monday, December 19, 2022.
In a statement signed and issued by the transport operators, stated that the reduction will cover shared taxis, trotro, long distance journeys and haulage.
This has been necessitated by the recent downward trend of petroleum prices on the International Market.
