Daniel Obo, a former footballer who has travelled far and wide the globe playing football is now craving a niche for himself as an assistant coach for the Zambian division 1 side River Plate. Daniel as many of his friends called him played in Laos,Vietnam and some other countries.

Daniel Obo also played in the Zambian league before switching into coaching and also helping out his team before a substantive coach was appointed. He won most of the games that he was in charge of the team and also helped the club to be promoted into the Elite Division One League in Zambia. He worked really hard to put River Plate up the pedestal of winners in Zambia after they won the league last season.

He was an instrumental striker in his hay days when playing football and he has transcended his discipline too into coaching. This young chap who had lived most of his life at Kwashieman is now making it big within the football cycles in Zambia.

He has pushed himself into becoming a young coach with Determination,Zeal and Hardwork. Watch out for him in the coming season at River Plate in the Zambian Elite Division One League.
